Sneaker Palooza Volume 3 is just around the corner March 11, 2012, this year Pusha T and Asher Roth will headline. Sneaker Palooza is a street-culture event that showcases San Antonio’s up and coming artists (musicians, art, graffiti artist, b-boys and girls, local fashion designers, and sneaker enthusiast). The goal of the event is to offer a platform for our community to express their artistic talents and lift that negative connotation that surrounds street-culture. The venue for this years event is The San Antonio Shriner Auditorium. The theme of Volume 3 is "Stop The Violence", due to the tragic death of my brother by a senseless act of anger. This year a portion of the proceeds will benefit Margaret McCombs, they young lady who was also affected by this tragedy and is paralyzed from her chest down. Join us as we showcase the many talented folks in the San Antonio area and great performances.

It seems surreal that we are approaching Sneaker Palooza Volume 3. Through hard work and dedication we have seen the event blossom and is quickly becoming one of the most anticipated events in San Antonio. We still remember the critics saying that we would fail, the mocking when Biz fell thru and how we where not a legit show. We kept focus and put our faith knowing that we walked in God's favor and blessings and that no weapon formed against us would prosper. We have been very blessed to have had Wale perform for Volume 1 and Mr. Bentley and Talib Kweli for Volume 2 and the support of the local artist, graffiti artist, bboys and girls, spoken word poets, dj's, performers and sneaker enthusiast. We are excited and working on taking the event to the next level and are very very humbled by your support. Our GOAL is to further raise the bar and continue providing an event that offers a platform for our community to express their artistic talents and lift that negative connotation that surrounds sneaker & street culture. Sneaker Palooza Volume 2 is set for March 13, 2011. Sneaker Palooza is a street-culture event that showcases San Antonio’s up and coming artists (musicians, art, graffiti artist, b-boys and girls, local fashion designers, and sneaker enthusiast). The goal of the event is to offer a platform for our community to express their artistic talents and lift that negative connotation that surrounds street-culture. The event will feature performances by some of san Antonio's best talent-AJ Hernz, Question, Bed Stuy Gab, Bugsy, Rob Tyson, Diego Bernal and Slic Vic. We will also feature some of the freshest DJ's-DJ M, DJ AOK, DJ Quake, DJ Chorizo Funk, DJ JJ Lopez and DJ Deacos. Sneaker Palooza also will feature performances from hip hop recording artist Fonzworth Bentley & Talib Kweli. Tickets available at Sole Boutique.
